With the possible exception of #1, #6, and London, AutoCarto has always been sponsored by ACSM, ACA, or CaGIS.  The availability and publication of proceedings has varied: some have been special issues of journals, some have been a volume in larger conference proceedings, some have been published as a serial (ISSN 0270-5133, LOC GA 102.4 .E4 A87x), and some have been published as independent volumes.
