Abstracts of a maximum of 500 words are due in PDF or Word format by September 1, 2008 by e-mail to autocarto2008@geog.ucsb.edu, subject line Website. A Web site submission is a Web-based feature demonstrating an innovative cartographic application or method. This format is most suited when concepts are complex, graphics are detailed or large, or sounds, interaction, or animation are an important component of the work.  Final Web posters are due at the time of the symposium, although the Web sites should be linkable to the CAGIS site and supported by their authors for a minimum of two years following the symposium. A screen dump of the initial page, poster showing the contents, or brief paper discussing the site will be added to the conference CD, and the Autocarto 2008 website will include a link to the featured sites. All suitable website contributions will be accepted, providing they are of interest to Autocarto 2008 attendees.
